Composition is what determines how the shape, color and curves in an image are arranged. There are many approaches to composition. Conduct a thorough review of the composition topic is beyond the scope of this article. However, three aspects of the composition, as they relate to abstract photography are covered.

Rule of Thirds: The rule of thirds is one of the most common approaches to composition. The third rule requires that an image can be divided into thirds vertically and horizontally. The focus of attention should be removed when crossing the dividing lines are.
Golden Triangle An alternative approach is the golden triangle. When using the golden triangle, a diagonal line is drawn from one corner of the image to the opposing corner. Then the lines of the other two corners so that they intersect at right angles to the first diagonal drawn. The focus of interest in the vicinity of one of the intersections of the lines arranged.
