Nothing can make life truly sparkle if there is little or no humor and romance. It is only with the tang and spice of humor and romance that you can find life truly scintillating and refreshing. Nothing can make you truly happy unless you share your happiness with others.

Romance is in every woman's dream, a beautiful dream, a beautiful feeling in the heart and in the mind that men need to learn. In love-romance you experience the beautiful feelings of loving someone. If you have loved someone and you are romantic then you know what a love-romance is, but there is another dimension of romance. It is life-romance. Love-romance is the art of creating beautiful feelings in your relationship with someone you love. Life-romance is the art of creating and experiencing beautiful feelings with beautiful people and beautiful things in real or in fantasies. If you have both then you have lived a truly beautiful and romantic life.
Romancing your life means being able to romance your life with beautiful friends and people on occasions to experience the feelings of love, warmth, joy, sincerity and togetherness. It is making life beautiful for your own self and for others in your own ways. It is the feeling of happiness in giving, sharing or making others feel loved continually. It is the art of making others feel loved by your acts of love and kindness. Your acts of love and kindness will not only be noble and charismatic but also romantic.
Romancing your life is also a personal escapism of your own making by using various means such as beautiful songs and music that you can experience the beautiful feelings of romance in your own studio. It is the art of living your life romantically with beautiful things, beautiful melodies and music and beautiful people around you whether in real or in your own fantasy or imagination. It is bringing beautiful people and their talents to you to experience all the beauty of life in its higher level. Romance is like your guzheng, pipa, erhu, dizi, or any other instrument with every musical notes and power in place, waiting for you to bring it to life and romance it from time to time and moment to moment. Romance is about observing and experiencing the beauties in motion and capturing and feeling every little thing such as artistic body movements, expressions, the beauty of vocal, of music, of ambience and so on that moves your heart and soul and creates your feelings of love, emotions and sentiments to become part of your repertoire or inventory that you can replay and savor again and again to form your mode of romance and in time to become part of your nature.
Romance is not the mainstream of life but it is the fountain of spring, the mist of the dawn, the little fresh breeze of the night, the little purls, the ripples, the babbles, the murmur and it is never too much or overflowing. It is bringing all these little things to life that add to your beauty, sweetness and the spiritual luxuries and live them from time to time and moment to moment. If you have the fortune to live your life in the worlds of all these things and with beautiful people who have the brotherly love for you or those who have talents, music and things of beauty to mesmerize your spirit and move your heart and soul, then you are romancing your life. If you can give your love and share what you have with those who need it in a way that moves you emotionally and sentimentally then you are romancing your life. If you can feel the happiness in making someone's life sweeter then you are romancing your life. If you can feel deeply what a singer or a musician feels or if their every element of expression, music and vocal moves you and touches you tenderly, sentimentally and emotionally and carry you into a world of imagination and fantasy, then you are romancing your life. In every situation it is the love, the tenderness, the sentiment, the emotions and the passions you feel beautifully that truly romance your life. Truly you have to be in such aesthetic world and people of great arts and talents to experience it.
We go in search of people and things that continue to thrill and fascinate us serenely and romantically, whether they are the musicians and their music, the singers and their songs, the artists and their arts or the writers and their books, and we share and experience the emotions, sentiments and passions in their works and in their lives. We watch their every little beautiful movement and absorb their every little expressions, and their softly fingers that tenderly pluck our hearts with the music of their strings. We watch the nature and the scenes of the beauty of people and things that mesmerize us and arouse our spirit and our emotions. We hunger for the little tender touch of love to experience the pulse, the rhythm and romance of life that we all dream of time and again.
In life-romance you enter your mind, spirit and soul into the art world of new dimension and rhythm of life to experience the feelings and emotions of people and things of beauty to enable you to live and experience your life beautifully. You move the same into a paradise of your own creation of beautiful people and things in real and in fantasy and imagination in tandem with your beautiful dream and experience it sentimentally, emotionally, and repeatedly in various fashions or manners to become virtually your second world, unlike the artless pseudo world of those who live within their own minds severely circumscribed by short-lived pride and mundane pleasures.
When you are in the romantic mode and are able to find the vibes of romance then you are into the upper realm of life and people. In the upper realm you will discover people of different beauty and class. You will discover people who are endowed with talents and armed with instruments and gadgets of arts that create the world of sound and music to fascinate, beautify and romance your life. When you begin to romance your life in the upper realm, you will suddenly discover yourself in a world of many fascinations. You will experience the world of love and beauty and a new meaning of life and existence.
I look for beautiful people and their music and identify with them to generate such feelings for myself and I love to repeat such great experiences and feelings of romance over and over again. If you are feeling any of these and you love to experience it again and again then you are really romancing your life and soon your life will become classic on the upper level. You will never truly know how beautiful it is until you have experienced it yourself continually.
However it is generally perceived or known that the more learned and the more cultured a person is the more likely that romance will form an integral part of his life and so are the people. People who are less cultured are generally lack of true romance and sometimes degenerate into an orgy of perverted or vulgar sex. Romance is not quite for those who have little sentiment or no beauty of the mind and heart.
Romance is sublime and classic. To romance our lives does not mean to be loose, lewd, wild, irresponsible and immoral. In other words we must be OK. To romance our lives we need good character, morals, temperament or disposition, the art and talent, the love and desire. To romance our lives we need to have the beauty of the heart, and the beauty of the talent and the art. These are the elements or the vibes that create the ambience of our minds, our spirit, our personalities and our little personas to put ourselves into that romantic mode. It is this romantic mode that you will find in many men and women of beautiful great arts and talents.
Love and romance need to be tenderly expressed from the heart otherwise there is little or none. Our lives would be just as dull as a plain sheet of paper if we do not express it with living arts and colors. We need to put colors and romance into our lives. Most people seldom or never romance their lives. We can add romance to ourselves if we have certain thing of beauty in our possession that we can exhibit such as our talent, art and skill. So having your own art or skill is a great asset.
The true value of our persons is when we or others are able to look back to experience and romance all the moments of our accomplishments, our emotions, our aesthetic works of arts, our music, and pleasantly discover that all these are part of us to make up what we are and what we live for and we relive them over and over again to rejuvenate our lives and our spirits. These are the elixirs of life or the tangy spices of food that we savor from time to time.
One same song or music can have different meaning to or different effect on different people. One romances with it sentimentally, melancholy, or passionately, but the other does not because they feel and sense it differently. The former is aesthetic and the latter is materialistic. Their abilities and levels of capturing the essence of the things of beauty are different. So the qualities of their lives are different. Likewise the quality of your life is greatly measured by what you are and how you perceive and how you measure the quality of life.
There are material men and there are aesthetic men. The more aesthetic a man or a woman is the more sublime and the higher the level of the quality of his or her life will be. The material men concern more with material or monetary accomplishments in life. The aesthetic men concern more with the spirit, the art and beauty of life. This aesthetic side of our person is important and essential to our personal value and success. It is the aesthetic side of our person where we experience all the serene and beautiful feelings, emotions and passions that are distinctly romantic, unlike wild arts or music that arouse wild or runaway emotions.
You may have observed that some of the most beautiful people or people who have less pain and burden in life are the romantic people, the musicians, the artists or the writers or those that are able to discover their talents and work them with passion, not to mention the saints. These are the beautiful people who shape and design their own lives consciously or unconsciously. We bring these beautiful people and beautiful things or music to us, and live the time of their past, their present and perhaps their future with our timeless spirit. It is with the artistes, musicians, writers and other accomplished men of arts that we experience the sentiments and emotions, and the beauty and romance in their works and in their persons.
Romancing your life means to enter into a beautiful world or the world of romance to feel and not into the world of sad and violent characters as some of the actors or actresses do. This explains why actors or actresses could lose their own identities when they become their characters or could even become a little confused at times in their lives as had happened. I have learned to live in many worlds of passions and music. I live the romance of youth and romance of life, the present and the past, and perhaps the future the best I can. I particularly like to romance with beautiful people, their songs and their music that move the hearts and souls of men. I take pleasures in experiencing the world of beautiful people and things, their emotions and their romance that come to life. I enjoy the music that stirs my sentiments and passions and moves me to a new dimension. Often times I live in moments of the real world and the world of my fantasies and imaginations and of my dreams. I would love to experience your life if it is beautiful and romantic. If your spirit, your expressions and your music can romance my heart strings then I am in your world. If your softly touching songs and music can bring me back memories to live again the beautiful nostalgic moments of my life then I am in your world. I would love to live your time, your music, your songs and your romance. I can experience and savor all of them beautifully, sentimentally and passionately.
It is the sentiments and emotions that have great beauty. One way to see this sentiments and emotions is to observe the great musicians in actions. Everything they touch in their works has their own spirits and emotions embodied. Their sentiments, emotions and passions drive them to great artistic beauty and romance. The more beautiful your works are the more beautiful your spirit, your feelings, emotions and passions will be and in time you will look back with spurts of emotions and feelings of great satisfaction of your life and your accomplishments.
Nobody knows how you are going to live your life but everybody knows that you have only one life and only one time to live it and you should live it the best ever. Every little moment counts in your life. If you can enjoy one little good healthy moment in your life then enjoy it to the fullest even if it is just a little dream or a passing thought and never to be savored again. And love and romance is everybody's dream and more so to a woman. A life needs to be lived sentimentally, romantically, beautifully and colorfully in various moments and in various degrees. If he doesn't then he does not live his life to the fullest. I can't imagine a man who has passed his working life and not having a beautiful dream to live it romantically and beautifully to carry him through. It would not only be a dereliction of duty but could also lead him to a sad life of idleness, dysfunction and degeneration of body and mind. It is the mind that makes a man and a man needs to feed his mind with little beautiful dreams and with beautiful thoughts each day, and little pretty exciting things he looks forward to enjoy doing for a new today and a new tomorrow, else he may die of boredom.
But there is magic in bringing the beauty of youth back into your life even if you have well passed your age. You may not be able to bring back your second youth or second life physically but you can certainly do so spiritually. Spirituality is timeless. Your spirit recognizes no time or age. Your spirit is your emotional being; how you feel about yourself, how you behave yourself, how you conduct yourself. It is all in your mind and in your energy. As long as you have good health, active mind and energy to sustain you, the spirit of youth exists in you.
You need to dream the life that you want to live, beautifully, and romantically. Dream of the artist you want to be and paint your own life and live it the way you want, in real and in your own fantasies and imaginations. You need to bring back the spirit of your youth, the spirit of life, the spirit of adventure, and the spirit of romance.
