The nature is always a mystery to people. Through decades, what people found is that the more we learn about the nature, the greater natural world is. The finest nature images of the week include sunbathing turtles, humpback whales, greater one horned rhino, pearl-bordered fritillaries, apple flower and especially armadillo. Armadillo is a quadruped animal. The first armadillos were found in the United States in 1849 and reported in Texas in 1854. It is estimated that there are from 30 to 50 million armadillos living in the United States. This special animal has no fore-teeth and no dog-teeth. Armadillos like eating ants and can digest a number up to 40,000 ants for one single meal. The most special feature is that armadillo females always give birth to four identical young animals at one time.

The famous shark expert and conservationist Jim Abernathy has came across a huge school of fish being attacked by hundreds of hungry sharks while traveling in the flying inflatable boat called The Overseer. The crystal clear water enables the experts to see and take picture of the ocean's most amazing scene. A school of as many as 10,000 sharks are swimming off the Florida coast. Sharks including wrangling and feeding black tipped reef sharks, bull sharks, tiger sharks, hammerheads and spinner sharks form a massive bait ball off the coast. Mr Abernethy explains “It's very difficult for a predator to identify one individual fish out of a massive shoal like this” and “From above the view looks beautiful. So it's difficult to imagine what it must be like for the mass of bait fish fighting for survival”

A landslide is known as a geological phenomenon including a wide range of ground movement, such as rock falls, deep failure of slopes and debris. Although the action of gravity is the prime reason of landslide, there are other contributing factors affecting the slope instability coming from human activities. Recently, there have been a number of disasters around the world; one of typical example is hill collapse in Bolivia triggered from intense rains as a result of La Nina, a climatic phenomenon caused by a shift in currents in the Pacific Ocean. In few months ago, parts of Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico and Central America also experienced severe flooding.

Alligators are considered as one among the most dangerous species in the world. They have been described as “living fossils” which have been extant for 200 million years. These dangerous predators can be found mostly in the United States and China. The newest alligator attack happened in Florida, United States was in July 2010 when the 18-year-old Tim Delano was bitten by this dangerous animal. The alligator ripped Tim Delano’s hand and took it away. Although the alligator was killed after that, but the hand of Tim couldn’t be re-attached.
