With Prince William thousands of miles away in the Falkland Islands, the glamorous Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton spends Valentine day carrying out a royal tour of Liverpool's charities where she is welcome with cheering crowds, flowers, cards and gifts. Valentine 2011 is the first Valentine’s Day without her beloved Prince since the couple married last April. Besides visiting Alder Hey chidren's hospital, Kate also comes to The Brink, an alcohol-free bar on Parr Street as a Patron of Action on Addiction in Liverpool. A source close to Kate told that “She misses William. It’s difficult for any officer’s wife to have her husband away on duty. Catherine knows time will fly if she just gets on with things”
