It can begin with something as easy as a smile. Don't underestimate this great ice breaker. A smile, when it's genuine, friendly and warm, will automatically make you appear friendly, personable, and will tempt men to approach you. If you're with a group of friends smile at them during your conversation, but open up and spread the smile around a bit.
Combine that warm smile with some solid eye contact. You can let you gaze scan your surroundings, smile here and there, (don't overdo that first point; you don't ever want that smile to be pasted on) then settle your gaze on that guy who interests you. Perhaps you can even add a subtle nod to acknowledge him. Just don't stare. Keep your scanning gaze in his vicinity and when he turns to you, make that visual contact.
This is a clear invitation to come talk to you. While you converse with him, make small and subtle physical contact with him. Lightly touch his arm, or pat his hand or even lean into him if he succeeds in making you laugh. If things are going well and he's receptive to your approach, you can even be as bold as to reach for his tie and make playful and amusing comments about it.
It's important to remember as you try out these tactics to remain true to yourself. Don't try to pretend because most men will see this a lot faster than you can imagine. Be it your smile or your gaze, don't try a rehearsed or practiced smile you know is not the real you. Keep it real and be genuine. You'll see that your flirting will be more successful as men will respond well to you.
